Establish and/or maintain good working relationships with co-workers, customers, vendors, etc.*
Plan, monitor, control, and lead projects from ideation to completion.*
Work with customers to identify their needs and schedule crews accordingly.*
Walk jobs with superintendents for potential and/or upcoming projects.*
Work with crews to ensure quality work is being done and within the given timeframe(s).*
Ensure construction sites are in accordance with erosion and sediment control best practices.*
Maintain all construction safety standards.*
Maintain excellent communication about projects with the appropriate parties.*
Perform some physical duties, when necessary.*
Operate tools and equipment in a safe manner, when necessary.*

Erosion Control experience, preferred.

Position
Duties and Responsibilities include Equipment Operator duties with the following. Other duties may be assigned:
Establishes and/or maintains good working relationships with co-workers, supervisors, vendors, customers, etc.*
Documents and logs work/rest periods.*
Complies with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures.*
Follows directions and shows initiative.*
Completes work orders for equipment, labor and material and submits to management for immediate processing.*
Adheres to all company policies and procedures paying special attention to health and/or safety procedures & regulations.*
Inspects vehicles before and after every trip, which includes checking the oil, gas, water levels, tires, mechanical items and safety issues and reports all defects to management immediately.*
Promptly reports any accidents, injuries or mechanical faults to management.*
Cleans and maintains company vehicles according to company standards.*
Drives machines to and from work sites.*
Drives machines in a safe manner on work sites; sometimes with with other members riding on top in hydroseed applications.*
Able to perform labor intensive work.*
Moves levers, depress foot pedals, and turn dials to operate power machinery, such as power shovels, stripping shovels, scraper loaders, or backhoes.*
Sets up or inspects equipment prior to operation.*
Becomes familiar with hydroseed & digging plans, machine capabilities and limitations, and with efficient and safe procedures in a given application.*
Observes hand signals, grade stakes, or other markings when operating machines so that work can be performed to specifications.*
Operates machinery to perform activities such as hydroseeding, backfilling excavations, vibrating or breaking rock or concrete, or creating construction entrances.Receives written or oral instructions.*
Measures and verify levels of rock or gravel, bases, or other excavated material.*
Evaluates information to determine compliance with company and state standards.*

Operates machinery to perform activities such as dewatering, hydroseeding, strawblowing, mowing, backfilling excavations, vibrating or breaking rock or concrete, or creating construction entrances.*
When equipment cannot be used, use of handheld shovels, buckets & wheelbarrows may be used.*
Receives written or oral instructions regarding daily job duties.*
Evaluates information to determine compliance with standards.*
